Welcome to the Studio Stack Newsletter - let’s get into it!
This week I’ve had tons of calls with emerging Studio leaders with one thing on their mind: where do I start?
The truth is - you start where you are.
But that kind of vague advice isn’t super helpful. So, my tactical tip is to craft the most important playbook of your Studio’s success - the Innovation Playbook.
The Innovation Playbook is the guide to venture building within your Studio. Most Studios leverage similar stage gates - Ideation > Validation > Traction > Creation > Spin Out - but each and every Studio has their own unique recipe for this process.
So, my advice is to start there. Design your most important playbook and put it to work - practice makes perfect afterall. For more context and a helpful checklist - read my latest article on how to develop your Innovation Playbook.
