The Startup Studio Newsletter | ED42
This week's newsletter features stories from Theodore Sutherland, thegallery.tv, & Inc42 + news from 917Ventures, DeepMinds, Cartwheel Studio, The Journey Studio, Summit Venture Studio, and more!
Welcome to the Studio Stack Newsletter - let’s get into it!
I recently came across a 2-part article series by Studio enthusiast and innovator Theodore Sutherland.
Part one is a great overview of the Studio model and the types of Studios in operation.
Part two was of particular interest to me as the author dives deep into the nuances of Studio models answering questions about what kind of businesses Studios are best suited to create, which industries are ideal for innovation, the advantages of the Studio model, and which profiles of leaders are most likely to launch a Venture Studio.
Theodore lists 3 avatars and describes the differences of how each profile would run a Studio. For the most part, I think he’s spot on - but I am interested in collecting real data on this subject.
So, I’ll ask you to take the following poll and check the results for yourself. As the Studio world continues booming, I suspect we will have a variety of leaders and innovators entering the sphere!
